2022-2023 Phi Beta Delta Conversation Series "A Journey with Rohan Wakade, PhD"

Join members of the Phi Beta Delta Honors Society for International Scholars for the first talk in their 2022-23 Phi Beta Delta Conversation Series, "A Journey with Rohan Wakade, PhD," on November 8, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. (CST), in 2766 University Capitol Centre. 

Socialize and network with faculty, staff, and students while Rohan Wakade, a postdoctoral researcher at the Carver College of Medicine, and Russell Ganim, associate provost and dean of International Programs, engage in a lively discussion about Rohan's scholarly achievements in international education and journey to the University of Iowa. 

Refreshments and appetizers will be provided.

Virtual Power Hours 

PBD will host Virtual Power Hours this year. Members will have an outstanding opportunity to share their stories on what global education and internationalism means to them. PBD members from international destinations will have an opportunity to share as part of their story why they came to Iowa and discuss the challenges and opportunities they have encountered thus far. Likewise, PBD members from the U.S. will have an opportunity to share their stories regarding global experiences and what drew them to international communities. Join us to build our Phi Beta Delta community!

Power Hours will feature 5 - 6 participants sharing their story. The event will be moderated by the Dean of International Programs, Dr. Russ Ganim. Audience members will have an opportunity to connect with the presenters by submitting their questions via the Zoom chat feature. Sessions will be recorded.
